These two books have been rebound as one; Hardcover; Bound by New Method Book Bindery Inc.; Front and back covers show minimal wear with a couple of bent corners; Inside front cover has a small sticker on the bottom right from the binding company; Both title pages have a previous owner's name at the top in ink; First book is 62 pages long and includes original foldout map in like new condition and an additional map page; Second book is 370 pages long and includes illustrations; There is no separator between the two books; Spine title and author are stamped in gold; Previous owner's initials are stamped in gold at the bottom of the spine; Pages are clean; Binding is tight.

This 1995 sale was huge, even by Sotheby's standards, running for 2 weeks. This catalogue set was limited to 20K copies, and includes a foldup Baden family geneology, measuring 3'x2'. The six volumes include: Volume I: Furniture, Clocks & Tapestries; Volume II: Art; Volume III: Ceramics & Glass; Volume IV: Furniture & Decorations; Volume V: Pictures & Prints; Volume VI: European & Oriental Ceramics & Glass. You get one antique Die Juden in Memmingen by Dr. Julius Miedel 1909 softcover book published by Otto in Germany. This item is in German. This book is in good overall condition with some wear to its covers and edges. The spine is cracked in the back and the last ten, or so, pages are attached by two of the threads, but are not completely loose. The foldout Guggenheimer family tree is still attached to the inside of the rear cover. The pages are clean, except for an etching of a church on the first page, and have slight tanning. Included free are a few old articles. There are no print copies available in WorldCat, This item is 8 inches tall by 5.5 inches wide.
