Slight rubbing and marking to covers and to endpapers; with bumping to corners, some foxing and marking to first and last few leaves of second volume, both volumes in good condition , green cloth, red and black illustration to upper boards with red borders and black decorative titles, black decorative titles with red detail to lower boards and spines.

Beautifully illustrated, many in color.Corners bumped, wear to bottom edge of boards. Some written marks to inside rear end papers. Some pages discolored due to age others, as the color illustrations, not at all..

New York: Seven Stories Press, 2012. Three volumes in slip case. Very Good. Bindings are tight and interiors are bright and clean with no ownership marks. Exterior of each volume shows some bubbling of the binding material as well as abrasion and wear to edges and spines and some mild spine creasing. Slip case is worn away all along the top edges, has bumped corners, and is split along the top rear. Overall, solid, clean copies showing some signs of wear. Interiors beautiful! This darling children's book is in very good condition with clean pages and some minor wear to its cover. The bottom edge near the spine is rubbed, as is the top edge of the front cover. No marks, creases, stains or damage to is pages. The book is dedicated to Leonard Bernstein.

Edges of covers a bit frayed and normal smudges, etc to the cover.the first 2 cover pages have separated from the book but otherwise the binding is pretty sturdy. There is one name written in blue ink pen on the second cover page , otherwise, there's no other writing, crayon, cuts, or stamps within.
