FIRST EDITION thus in dust jacket. Book and dust jacket near fine. This was originally published as EXTRA GIRL. Everything appears to be identical except for the title and the titles listed on the advertisement on the rear panel of the dust jacket. 'What are the temptations, the chances for success of the 'extra girl who knocks at the gates of Hollywood?' Not in See or Brooker.

This is Raven Leilani`s debut novel of a young Black woman and her relationship with a middle-aged white man in an open marriage. It received mainly positive critical reception and won the 2020 Center for Fiction First Novel Price and the 2020 Kirkus Prize for fiction.

Severn House only produced small numbers of their Titles mainly for Libraries and not for general sale, so very few copies exist without library markings.
