Focused on the American home and infused with postwar optimism, THE NATURAL HOUSE is what Wright scholar Robert McCarter called "perhaps [Wright's] most straightforward and sincere writing." Uncommon in its true first edition, and scarce in this condition. 10'' x 8''. Original tan linen boards featuring facsimile Wright signature in red and black with "54." In original printed unclipped ($6.50) dust jacket. Textual endpapers printed in red. 223, [1] pages. Book has touches of toning to extremities. Jacket has fainting rubbing with trace edgewear. Uncommonly sharp and bright overall.
