About This Item
New York: Horizon Press, 1954. First edition, 4to, pp. 223, [1]; portrait frontispiece, approximately 100 illustrations and plans throughout the text; fine copy in an intact, but worn dust jacket. The jacket is in the second state with the price of $7.50 on the front flap. The binding is in the first state with "54" after Wright's facsimile signature on the front board. Inscribed by Wright in the small red box under his frontispiece portrait, "To Bill Davies / Frank Lloyd Wright / 57." The inscription likely made at Taliesin. Davies (1928-2022) was a St. Paul Minnesota architect who studied with Wright.
