Goldberg book of cartoons; gift inscription dated 1912 on ffep; binding is side-stapled with thin mull hinges under a brown cloth spine; full-front board pastedown in three colors, is hand-soiled, a bit stained and smudged, but wholly complete and a classic. Book block is overall clean and tight although the paper is beginning to show signs of yellowing; ffep and fep are separated at the inside hinge; unpaginated. Making fun of dopes, morons, stupid questions, government officials, opinionated blow-hards and politicians was Goldberg's specialty. This is a gem of American humor.. First Edition. This book is in good condition. There is some wear on the front, back, spine, edges and corner of the cover. There is some dog-earring on the right corner pages of the book.
