Hello, I established myself as a local brick and mortar bookstore in 1999 e.v. trading in general fiction and non-fiction, but specialising in the occult, new age and metaphysics as well as religion and mythology. I also stock general fiction and non-fiction. My shop which was upstairs in the Olympia Building, accessed via Shand's Emporium, was lost in the 2012 earthquakes, so I am currently mail order only, as I have moved out of the city and now live rurally. Sometimes this distinction can be a little unclear for the first-time visitor, but don't worry — it's a good thing. Here are just a few tips to keep in mind when ordering from booksellers on Biblio:
- Check shipping rates. Since each bookseller sets their own shipping rates, the actual cost of shipping will vary from book to book.
- Order in-country. Biblio hosts booksellers from dozens of countries. If possible, order books from a bookseller in your own country. This will often save you money on shipping and reduce the delivery time.
- Ask the bookseller. Have questions before ordering about an item's edition, points or condition? Use the ask the bookseller link on each item page.
