In 2005, Didion's book, in which she reflected on her husband's death, was published. That same year her adopted daughter became hospitalized, diagnosed with various illnesses, and subsequently died. Here is Didion's memoir of that time, her daughter's life, and her own. Includes a leaflet from the Library Foundation of Los Angeles event where this copy was signed. (8-1/4"x5-1/2")

Synopsis

Joan Didion was born in Sacramento, California, and now lives in New York City. She is the author of five novels and eight previous books of nonfiction. Her collected nonfiction, We Tell Ourselves Stories in Order to Live, was published by Everyman's Library in 2006.
