Library stamp of Episcopal Theological School, Cambridge, Mass., to title page and small tear to lower margin at Psalm 140 affecting two letters of text, else fine. Griffiths 1800/11. Bound with: The Whole Book of Psalms in Metre; with Hymns, Suited to the Feasts and Fasts of the Church, and Other Occasions of Public Worship, Boston: I[saiah] Thomas & E.T. Andrews. 1800. 70 numbered pages + 1 unnumbered leaf (table) + 2 rfep. Text of both works printed in two columns, with light scattered foxing and age toning. Bound in full brown modern calf with blind rolled borders on both boards and six gilt lines to spine, and red morocco spine label with gilt "Common Prayer. A scarce and unusually well preserved example of the only BCP printed by Isaiah Thomas, whom Benjamin Franklin praised as "the American Baskerville." A scarce edition.
