Philadelphia: John C. Winston Company. Very Good in Good dust jacket. 1953. First Edition. Hardcover. 201 p. 22 cm. Sound and square binding in lime green cloth-covered boards with black stamped spine titles. Three fore-corners are lightly bumped. Moisture stain along rear fore-edge. A bit of foxing in both joints. Spine ends have light crinkling. Both inner hinges have darkened somewhat. There is an erased price on the front free endpaper. The inside pages are clean and unmarked with slight age toning. Dustjacket has chips, short tears, and creases; including paper loss along the full width of the rear top edge and a 1 x 1.25" chip on the bottom rear edge. Worn at corners and rubbed along the folds. Some scratches and impression marks on both panels. The reverse side of the jacket is tanned. Price clipped. A title in the Winston Science Fiction series for juvenile readers. Jacket designed by Kenneth Fagg and endpapers designed by Alex Schomburg. .
