Die Arbeit stellt sich das Ziel, Ursachen, Faktoren, Manifestationen und Folgen des Identitts- und Sprachkonflikts in gemischtethnischen Familien in der Republik Moldova zu analysieren. Dabei geht es sowohl um die Rekonstruktion der sozialen Situation gemischtethnischer Familien als auch um die individuellen Auseinandersetzungen der Probanden mit den sprachlichen Verhltnissen und den sprachlichen Ideologien in der Republik Moldova. Es gilt zu erkennen, welcher Stellenwert den sprachlichen Ressourcen der Individuen, der Einsprachigkeit und der Mehrsprachigkeit zugeschrieben wird und welche individuellen und sozialen Konflikte daraus erwachsen. Anhand dieser Untersuchung konnte gezeigt werden, wo mit wem welche Sprache die Eltern und Kinder sprechen, welche Strategien sie anwenden, um den Konflikt zu bewltigen oder aber sich ihm zu entziehen.
