Chicago, New York, London, Paris, et al.: The Werner Company, 1893. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Oblong folio. Unpaginated. The binding measures 11 1/8 inches tall by 14 inches wide. Hardcover bound in tan cloth with cover designs in black and red. The binding is worn and bumped, and there is some fraying to the spine ends. Corners bumped. Lacks most of the front flyleaf (patterned paper, and the second flyleaf, a blank, is heavily creased. The title page has a couple of creases at the bottom corner. The text block is a little shaken (heavy book), and the text is a little toned but generally clean. Illustrated throughout with large format black and white photos. Laid in loosely is a "Souvenir Album of the Visit of Prince Henry of Prussia" (dated, we think, 1902). This is similar to a newspaper, about 16 inches tall with a center fold and is very fragile. There is a front and rear cover with illustrations on the inside covers. No multiple pages in this piece of ephemera. The Colombian Exposition of 1893 was the first World's Fair and was held in Chicago, Illinois
