Near fine with pages slightly age toned and touch of light foxing to endpapers; in very good dust jacket somewhat tanned at spine and along rear edges, with few tiny nicks and short tears and a small rubbed v-shaped tear to front panel lower edge. (Please note: book is not signed.) TOGETHER WITH a pre-publication promotional excerpt -- "THE BEWITCHED TAILOR" -- that is one of a designated 850 copies SIGNED BY HECHT & GROSZ who, in this particular copy, has added a sketched stick figure in shoes to his signature. 8vo stapled paperwraps with folded paper covers blocked in reddish-orange on front; one illustration by Grosz; 8 pages, unnumbered. Very good or better with tanning and light wear to edges and two small, inconspicuous holes near fore edge front cover. Both the book and its pre-publication excerpt are relatively scarce.
