England, 1850. Very good. Dust soiling, a couple spots.. A finely produced 12mo Valentine made from embossed Victorian scrap, pictorial lace paper depicting a pastoral country scene, and colored paper affixed beneath the lace paper. Inside is a scrap with motto that reads, "This little tribute which I send I hope you will receive And keep it for the sake of one, Who never will deceive". Lace paper bifolium (4.75" by 3.25") with blind stamp of Marcia Finley Smith to lower leaf.
