Chief Inspector Barnard searches for a man protecting the daughter of the Foreign Secretary, an odd sequence of events which begins when the clock chimed 13 times at midnight. Apparent ex-library with a long series of dates written on the front end paper, no other library indications. Bumped and rubbed with small stains to the boards. Light foxing to the upper edge of the text block, jacket flaps glued to the pastedowns. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. Ex-Library.
