Light green cloth, bright gold spine lettering, with design debossed on front cover. All pages fine. B&W Illustrations. Introduction by Marcus A. McCorison, Preface by Wilmarth S. Lewis. This book Contains a Facsimile of the first page of the Manuscript Catalogue made by Captain Elnathan Hammond in 1750 and two facsimilies of title pages, one for "Laws of the Redwood-Library Company 1764" and one of "A Catalogue of the Books belonging to the Company of the Redwood-Library, in Newport, on Rhode Island 1764". The Catalogue begins on page 3 and ends on page 83, followed by an Index which takes us the remaining pages.
