Philadelphia: A. Fiot, 1846. Sheet_music. Good -. 9, [10] p.: music; 32 cm. Removed from a volume of sheet music published from 1825 to 1850 with former owner's name on the front: "E. C. K. Seymour." Imprint includes: Wm. Dubois, New York. No date of publication; Augustus Fiot, importer of music, was located at 196 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, the address in the imprint, throughout the 1840s. French Henri Herz (1803-1888), virtuoso pianist, composer, and teacher, first toured the United States in 1846. This is one of the three books, containing six exercises. Scarce.
In Good- Condition: first leaf and last are partially separated; several closed tears of 12 cm. and less; foxing throughout; pencilled fingerings on some pages.
