New York: Swan & Son, 1900. 4 documents include: a 1900 disbursement on Da Costa & Co. Barbados paper, for the Am. Bktine. "John Swan" signed by the master F.S. Nash and countersigned by Middleton & Co. on back; 1900 Standard Oil Co. of N.Y. Devoe Works for wharfage of the Bk. Emila, signed and countered on back by Swan & Son for the ship; in 1903 the same vessel is towed to sea and through Jekyl Creak(sic) by the South Atlantic Towing Co. of Brunswick Ga; and 1906 another Swan ship, the "Motley" master C. Edwards, on another Da Costa Barbados disbursement sheet made to Swan & Son, again countersigned to Middleton; approx. 5 1/2" x 9" average size of the 4 pieces; accomplished in good legible hands; first document with some old discoloration on 1/3; some edgewear, chipping, dustiness on last; overall, in good condition, interesting maritime trade ephemera from the first part of the 20th century. . Manuscript. Not Bound. Good.
