Missouri: n.p., 1924. Ledger. Poor. Ledger. Approx. 8" x 5". Marbled paper covered boards. Leather spine. Paper label of the spine has the name of H Starks and a date of 1904. This is a repurposed ledger. Originally meant to a "Conductor's Train Book" published by "The J.M.W. Jones Stationary and Printing Co" the book was used to record accounts, agricultural commodities with prices, weight of hogs, purchase of chicks, wagon, some banking numbers, a hand written personal note (barely legible), several pages with arithmetic, record of the April 3, 1920 blizzard and its affect on crops, etc. Approx. 56 pages used with the majority of the middle of the ledger blank. Most entries are from the early 1920's. The binding is completely loose and presently held together by one string. Loose and chipped pages inside. Several separate receipts, some dated in the 1920's from Novelty Missouri, are laid inside the ledger. A list of names on the rear end sheet include Paul Stark, Fay Steidley, Arthur Rhoades, Elmer Kintz, Ralph Kintz, Herman Stark, Florence Stark, Blanche Kintz, Rose Rhoades, and 'Joe'.
