Truffaut's auspicious debut, a semi-autobiographical tale of a young boy's estrangement from his family and school, leading him into a life of petty crime and culminating in trouble with the law. Winner of Best Director at Cannes and nominated for the Palme d'Or.
Set and shot on location in Paris, France.
