About This Item
Toronto: McClelland and Stewart Limited [0-7710-3733-3] 1985. (hardcover) 362pp. Very good in very good dust jacket. 8vo. Blue and crème boards. Dust jacket with shelfwear, edgewear; chipping at foot of front panel; original price sticker at the bottom corner of the front panel; NOT price clipped, showing $22.95. This copy from the library of noted Canadian historian Stephen Kenny, with his signature in blue ink at the head of the ffep. Textblock with only one tiny notation: a previous owner (Professor Kenny, most likely) has simply written "loser" in black ink at the head of p.11. Else the volume appears practically unread. Might we assume that he dislike what he was reading and stopped at p.11?..
