50 Salmi di Davide (Custom-bound excerpts)

Milano: Ricordi, and Udine, L. Berletti, n.d. (late C19?). hardcover. fair. Fifteen psalms from 'Estro poetico-armonico', in two bound volumes (loose page; p.45-46 of psalm no. 3 in vol. one). Front cover of Volume II is becoming disbound, Volume I still intact but loose. The music is engraved and is for the most part bright and clean, though all pages are heavily discoloured due to age, with some cracks along edges. Volume two has a tear along part of the spine, and both volumes feature heavy edgewear to edges and corners, exposing cardboard. The first psalm is published by Ricordi, the rest are published by L. Berletti of Udine. Four of these are bound in with colour title pages stating: "Con accomp di Pianoforte di F. Mirecki, Rivista da Cherubini". Also bound in are Canon Triplex (3pp) and a Miserere by Gregorio Allegri (6pp.). Plate numbers are: 56585-88-645, 3494, 3495, 3496, 3497, 3498, 3499, 3500. Vol. II 3501, 3502, 3503, 3520, 3521, 3522, 3522-1/2, 22570. Volume One is paginated from 37-55, 305-442, and 1-128. Volume Two is paginated from 129-232, 325-472, and 1-6. Psalms present are: 3.
