Very Good. Vg in fair Dj. NY: Random House, 1938. Early printing, no other printings mentioned. Back flap of DJ mentions only MULBERRY but doesn't list it for $1. DJ price intact. Book: black paper boards with red cloth spine, board corners lightly bumped, and edgeworn; no ownership marks. DJ: price $2.95, unclipped, edges rubbed, 1" to 3" chips at DJ edges, 5" cello taping front of DJ not yellowed (yet). Else tight, bright & clean - nice solid copy of this early Dr. Seuss book
