[1900ca. VAUDEVILLE HANDBILLS, ORIGINAL WITH NEWS CLIPPING AND PERIOD PHOTOS INTERSPERSED] GROUP OF 6 ORIGINAL VAUDEVILLE HANDBILLS, ca. 1890s-1920, on 6 pages removed from dilapidated scrapbook, most 5" x 11", some smaller, on 12" x 7" pages removed from dilapidated scrapbook…newspaper clippings and handwriting are interspersed with the handbills, the handbills are for the late 19th-early 20th century vaudeville acts 1. Barber Theatre Company – Edward Barrie (color), 2. Rossow's Midgets (worn with tears at edges of fold), 3. Bryan's Comedians, Playing Nothing But the Cities (green text), 4. Harry and Ana Ladell (photos of acrobatic acts), 5. Ladell Sisters (small red card with red-tinted photo of the two sisters next to the former), 6. Art, 1900"…nice collection of original late 19th-early 20 century theater/vaudeville handbills with period news clipping and (faded) photographs interspersed; NOTE: assorted references including photos, notes, and casts for shows suggest this material is from a scrapbook compiled by a young woman from Sacket's Harbor, New York, who married the actor Charles H. Cline and had the stage name Hattie Cline (nee Palmer) //// CONDITION: varying wear as noted above with the individual handbills.
