The author has an interest in the ethnohistory of New England through her own research into the prehistory of the region. Some of the chapters are: The archaeological survey - Ceremonial sites - Aboriginal art in northeastern New South Wales - Disposal of the dead - The stone trackwork at Tuntable Falls, Nimbin - The stone industries from the sites excavated at Chambigne, Jacky's Creek, White-Man Creek, Wombah, Bendemeer, and Graman. This book would interest anyone wanting to learn about this important and fascinating part of Aboriginal history. (Includes 36 unnumbered pages at the rear, containing 67 plates. SCARCE.
