About This Item
New York, Random House, 1936. . First edition, first impression; 8vo; publisher's black cloth, red bands to boards and spine, titles to upper board and spine gilt red topstain. With the dust jacket. Short, superficial split to front hinge, professionally repaired, but an excellent copy in the very lightly rubbed and somewhat tanned dust jacket with traces of old, internal tape repairs.
Sound and the Fury notwithstanding, this may be Faulkner's best-loved work. And minor flaws apart this is a rather handsome copy of book with rarely appears in better condition.
