Fine. 12mo. hardcover in dark brown blindstamped sloth with spine lettered in gilt. 288 pp. A tight, bright example, 1860 ownership notation front free endpaper; some foxing to the title and final pages otherwise mostly bright and clean internally. British born Hester Ann Rogers (d. 1794) was the dusghter of a Church of England clergyman but converted to Methodism and was a prominent figure in its spread.
