About This Item
Thomas Newborough, 1687. Believed First Edition. Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7. In two sections, part one 43pp, part two 39pp, authors name in pen to title page no other inscriptions. Boards and end papers have been replaced, boards are now heavy dark brown leather with five raised bands to spine, no title to front or spine. Replacement cream end papers are plain, paste downs are rather creased. Not very aesthetically pleasing but very sturdy and has done a good job of protecting the text. Text is surprisingly bright and clean with little wear, just some light soiling, no loose pages, hinges tight. Overall a nice condition copy. Very happy to supply photos and more information on request.
