New York: Charles Scribner's and Sons, 1950. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Book is in very good condition, tight with minor bumping to spine and a small bump at bottom edge of front board. Spine slightly faded, but still very good gilding on front board and spine Ffep shows slight toning and book sellers pencil notation. Jacket is clipped, and chipped at spine ends and corners. First state jacket, title boxed in yellow instead or orange on spine. First edition with Scribner's A on copyright page. Mylar protected. A very nice collectible package.
