Charles H Kelly, London, 1903, fourth edition; small 8vo, pp xii, 244; folding map of the journey, collotype or similar frontispiece portrait of the author, several photographic and other illustrations in the text; brown cloth gilt, end papers somewhat browned, Weslyan Methodist presentation bookplate on the front end paper, the plate partially obscured by a piece of plain paper pasted over it but the book overall in good, tight, clean condition. The work is an account of a road journey from the Pacific to the Urals, specifically from China to Europe through Northern Asia, in the spring and summer of 1893
