A "12-year old orphan and her presumptive father" travel around the South during the 1930s Depression, "bilking widows, Alabama peanut farmers and even used-car dealers." The New York Times Review (August 8, 1971) describes Brown's style as "slick storytelling" with "easy charm" and "24-carat fun." Basis for the film Paper Moon, directed by Peter Bogdanovich, starring Ryan O'Neal, Tatum O'Neal, and Madeline Kahn. Jacket design by Robert Hane. (8-3/8"x5-3/4")
