"Resolutions adopted by the Democratic State Central Convention, held at Worcester, September 18th, 1850..." The resolutions concerned the statesman George S. Boutwell to be put forth by the party as a candidate for governorship; the admission of new slave states into the Union; the Party's congratulations to the state of California for being newly-admitted into the Union and so forth.
