Burlington: Vermont Historical Society, 1941. First edition. Hardcover. Very good +/good. (Burlington). Octavo, green cloth with gilt pictorial inset. 62pp. Original glassine jaclet present, but chipped and stained. There is a faint dulling in the gilt mountaiin image, but barely noticeable. A very nice copy. Dean was a Professor at the University of Vermont who taught ceative writing. He was the author of many works of historical fiction, including stories about Vermont heroes John Stark and Ethan Allen, and was the founder of the Green Mountain Folkore Society.
