Chicago: Rand McNally & Co, 1923. First edition with the Milo Winter illustrations, 1923. Six adventures of Brownie and a story of the author's life, illustrated in both color and in black and white. Blue cloth printed in gilt with a color illustration mounted on the front cover, frontis portrait of the author, 128 pages. Light wear to corners and edges, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with a few occasional fingerprints in margins, a few pages with closed tears to the margins from little fingers turning the pages just a little too roughly, name and gift note on front free endpaper, no other markings.. First Thus. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
