Cornu stories in Cassell's magazine in the 1890's, which anticipated ideas later popularized by modern science ficiton. See "Silas P. Cornu's Dru Calculator" on the website titled, Flying Cars and Food Pills - The Visionaries, Madmen, and Tinkerers Who Created the Future That Never Was. Scarce book, natural foxing to title page, otherwise very good. With Christmas 1930 gift inscription from the author. Dust jacket is later with the reduced 3/6 price on the spine.
