This is a small hardcover bound in red cloth with black and gold decoration and lettering on spine and front cover, 1887 reprint of the original 1881 edition, Macmillan, 180pp+4 pages of ads, 12 illustrations. Spine rather faded but gold lettering clear, cover a little worn through at top and bottom of spine and on very tips of outer corners, a little rubbed, a few very faint water spots; tight binding, endpapers a little tanned due to age, no marks or writing.
