This rare and anonymous early science fiction work is usually attributed to Russell. "Collection of dialogues and essays, together with a short novel, A Journey to the Moon (pages 3 to 148). In this, the narrator uses a mechanical spacecraft of unspecified propulsive principle to visit the Moon, which has air inhabited by the spirits of dead Earthmen, together with such abstract things as lost vices, advice, virtues, etc. There is also a little technology described ... Very difficult in original cloth" [Locke].
