London: Sir Isaac Pitman & Sons, 1938. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Octavo. 183, (4) pages. Hardcover in grey cloth. The binding has light to moderate wear. The corners are a little bumped. The author G. G. Campbell wrote an inscription on the front flyleaf: "To Major Morrett: To redeem my share of a promise which was unilaterally fulfilled when you so kindly sent me your book. - G G Campbell" There is an addendum, a second inscription: "Dunbar, South Africa - You are not expected to read this, but to hand it on to some member of the rising generation. - G G C". Text is toned, and the plates have some foxing. Black and white photo illustrations throughout.
