Contemporary tree calf; [1],303; 342,[3]pp (publisher's ads following text in v.2). Brief chips to leather at crowns; joints rubbed; v.2 front joint partially cracked and tender (but holding); moderate foxing to text throughout. Complete and Good.

The Second American edition is elusive; OCLC notes five locations, all in North America. AMERICAN IMPRINTS 18647.
