Binding intact, spine straight, corners worn. Front gutter split, and there are missing chips from head and foot ofspine. Front and rear hinges reinforced with linen tape. Pages unmarked and show only scattered slight foxing. Contains 8 striking chromoxylographic plates, a well-preserved fold-out map in back, and woodcuts throughout. An uncommon volume with real visual interest despite the wear.. Hardcover. Good-. 8vo.
