Good/Acceptable. 6x1x9. 1994 Safari Press (Long Beach, California), 6 1/2 x 9 3/8 inches tall x 2 inches thick blue faux leather hardcover in publisher's unclipped dust jacket, gilt lettering to front cover and spine, green pattern endpapers, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs and drawings, xiv, 431 pp. Remnants of the dust jacket (which is now in a clear archival Brodart sleeve) have adhered to the lower rear cover, with abrasions to front and rear covers and bumping to the upper tip of the front cover and slight bumping to the lower edge of the front board. Slight soiling to fore page edges. Inside, a very good to near fine copy - clean, bright and unmarked - in a dust jacket which is slightly creased and edgeworn, with staining to the lower rear cover, but which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear sleeve. ~JJJ~ [3.0P] The classic reference work on large-calibre rifles, both bolt action and double-barrelled guns, the cartridges they shoot, and their effect on the game.
