The front free page has a one cm tear at the top of the page near the spine, previous owners name erased, and a address sticker at top of free page. The rest of the book is unmarked, all the illustrations are present with 253 pp.

Cloth lightly soiled with a black smudge on the spine, spine ends and corners are modestly bumped, else very good or better, lacking the dustwrapper. Elsie de Wolfe also known as Lady Mendl, was an American interior decorator who also authored The House in Good Taste. A rare item indeed.
