Macmillan, 1974. Hardcover. Fine. (3d ptg.) Illus. by Susan McNeill. Slightly smaller book, shiny green-grained boards, gilt very bright on spine, 198 pages, illustrations throughout. Chapters on the mango, Chinese gooseberry, yams, prickly pears, artichokes, pomegranate and others, using leftover seeds from table fare. In sturdy slipcase with green background and potted plant illustrated, surface worn at entrance edges and opposite four corners, slight surface wear spots to much of bottom back. Very Fine book/Near Good slipcase.
