A story of suspense and political intrigue in a tiny Austrian province where a prince of the Church is assassinated in the presence of the sister of the British vice-consul. Spine somewhat cocked, minor wear to corners/spine ends, indentation to left edge of front cover, tanned/dusty edges. Dust jacket w/some chipping to corners/spine ends, a couple of 1/4" tears to bottom edge, sunned spine, 1/2" x 1/8" strip scraped from left portion of front panel (does not interfere with illustration), general wear..
