Complete with six tissue guarded lithographic plates by Frederic Edwin Church (1826-1900). Front gutter cracked. Ex-library call numbers on copyright page, it looks like library labels have been removed from the spine and rear endpaper, and pocket. Previous owner's bookplate on front fixed endpaper. Some age toning to the pages. A "binding copy" of this rare work. Arctic Bibliography 12352.
