NY: Atheneum, 1974. hardcover in dust jacket, textured blue paper-covered boards with purple cloth backing. author's initials embossed on cover board. bright silver lettering to spine., tiny crease to top board's bottom fore-corner tip. very small wrinkle to cloth spine at foot. front free endpaper has owner name across middle, and tiny bookseller's label to top edge. dj has minute perforation to back panel near middle with 3/4" crease stradling it. dj has minor rubbing, very faint aura of toning to upper margin of white background on flaps. price on flap is fully intact - no clip. edges are clean, book is clean, binding, hinges strong. colors on dj are bright, no tears or chips.; this copy is signed by koontz in blue ink - no additional inscription - near bottom of half-title page.; book states first edition on copyright page. 297pp.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
