About This Item

Carbondale, Illinois: Southern Illinois University Press, 1971. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. Light shelf wear and potting to the fore-edge. Jacket lightly rubbed and has a bit of edge wear. The previous owner of the book has written his name on the front free endpaper--Warren Roberts, Austin 1971. Below that is pasted a card stating "With the compliments of Southern Illinois University Press." The signature on the card looks like "Vernon Stanky." Previous owner Roberts was an authority on D.H. Lawrence and collaborated with Harry T. Moore, an internationally renowned Lawrence scholar, on two edited studies of Lawrence's works. An association copy of sorts here with this volume by Moore..
