New York: Simon & Schuster, 1947. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Poor. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. '111 Stories from the Official Service Journal of the USAAF, Selected and Edited by James H. Straubel, Colonel, Air Force Reserve'. 492 pp. Navy blue cloth boards show light edge wear and some light spotting. Bright gilt print on spine. Front free end paper has heavy black marking blocking out previous owner's name. Clean interior - small faint smudge on forward page edge. Price-clipped dust jacket's front panel is separated from spine and rear panel, and top of spine area is missing 3/4" and onto front hinge area. Bottom of spine has some chipping loss. Some creasing on edges, significant rubbing and tearing. Now in protective cover.
