Uniformly bound in red cloth, gilt lettering front & back covers, spines, NF set. First edition in English of first vol., fourth edition of Japanese volume, of this set compiling all the data and production information on Japanese aircraft activated for combat, or test flown during World War II. The text & illustrations delineate Japanese Imperial Army aircraft, Naval aircraft, experimental aircraft, supplementary notes, and even those which remained unfinished at the end of the War.
