Vimberk [Vimperk]: Tisk a sklad J. Steinbrener-A, 1874. Leather, bone and metal. Very Good +. 4 1/4 x 6 inches. 384 numbered pages. With three engravings with green protective tissues present and chromolithographed title page. Coated decorative endpapers. Front endpapers a little discolored. A few pages with a light marginal smudge or light toning. Rear hinge a little weak. Bound in full brown calf with metal edges and working clasp. Covers with deeply embossed decorative borders surrounding gilt geometrical border. Front cover with bone onlay of a cross and anchor. Covers lightly rubbed. A splendidly bound and nicely illustrated Czech Catholic Prayer book. A scarce imprint that survived both World Wars and the Socialist (Communist) era.
